    Thanks for the video, this concept opens many doors. As I understand technique #1 correctly, we are borrowing chords from the parallel keys, either major or minor, and building triads on the third or fifth degree of the key we are currently in. The last two chords in the example are B resolving to Bb; can this be seen as tritone substitution? It doesn't sound diatonic. Thanks again.

    Can this library do same note re-bow? Can you check on Hans Zimmer's latest collaboration with Call of Duty Mobile sound track? he made a theme for CODM few weeks ago, his melodies have a lot of same note re-bow, can this library achieve that? or it just sound mediocre rebow? Link to Hans's : ruclips.net/video/fUeNkdFK7b8/видео.htmlsi=7Ko9phZezyLt6nUD , check the violin strings that starts at 1:31 and the cello 0:30 [it's a solo cello though but you get the idea... Great demo though! but the legato have bumps here and there, don't really think it was your playing/programming, could be the library it self, saw many people complaining about that one. Thanks!

    Why wouldn't you just show the score? I don't want to have to squint at your hands as you go through every individual instrument being like "this is what the bassoons are playing"

    I really love the sound of this library. I'm trying to convince myself that it's worth it because I get a large ensemble that can turn into a small one with divisi sections. But since I'm a noob shopping for a first orchestra purchase, I'm not sure if I should just get the whole SOBBC or Berlin first to cover all the basics, instruments, and articulations. The sound of these strings is so gorgeous though!

    How are these routed within Kontakt? Are certain instances set to be transposed up or down X # of octaves? Or, do you limit which parts of the keyboard contain which VSTs? Btw unbelievable video, your improvisation within the language of film scoring is also incredible.

    Great teacher. Questions: What DAW do you use? Is it necessary you are keyboard player to compose well?

    • @whittymusic
      @whittymusic 4 месяца назад

      Thank you. I use Cubase currently. But all the major daws will work perfectly fine! My piano skills have played an important role in harmony and to score fast. However making midi mockups is a data entry job, and you don't need to be a virtuoso pianist to enter the notes in your daw. Understanding harmony and orchestration and most of all having your own voice/sound I thing is very important.
